Back in the eighties where custom-tailoring was the IN thing in Penang, thousands of clients have eagerly flocked to Jefferson for services. Going back to its roots, the company started in Penang KOMTAR in 1987 formally registered under the name Jefferson Fashion Design.
As time goes by the company has graced the fashion industry with beautiful apparels from formal lounge suits to off shelf design, smart casuals and classic lifestyle apparels. Jefferson's bold, forward thinking and visionary designers famous for their distinctive styles proved to be the fulcrum behind the superior craftsmanship and rapid expansion.
Riding the wave of paradigm, Jefferson moved beyond custom tailoring to its own classy boutiques and house brand. Nonetheless the soul of Jefferson still dwells deep within us, hence fashion still remains as the core of the company, designing high quality avant-garde products under stringent supervision. With our clients, we kept our relationship close and our mind open. We always have and always will welcome feedbacks to better understand their needs and concerns.
In March 1995, Amity Center Sdn Bhd was incorporated to cope with the vast business expansion of Jefferson and the outlets in the pipeline. The new millennium shall mark another milestone as the company prepares to venture into franchising. Fashion apparels aside, the company's other active marketing arm offers contract basis uniform manufacturing and supplies which is both unique and customers oriented. Unique in the sense that we are the first company in Malaysia to introduce fashion into uniforms and work apparels, customers oriented is because each and every specification can be custom made for our clients total satisfaction.
On top of this, we are also providing environmental friendly materials for the uniforms such as buttons and fabrics which aTre made from coconut pulps and sea shells which are all recyclable.
The uniforms market has enable us to offer a more comprehensive service in this industry. Some of our prominent corporate clients are PROPEL, TIME dotcom, PLUS Highway Authority, MPSP, PDC, Singapore Airlines, AMD, FedEx, golf clubs, as well as various government agencies.
